报告题目(中文):中子小角散射在先进结构材料中的应用研究
报告题目(英文):Use of SANS to study advanced Structural materials
报告内容简介:The mechanical performance and structural integrity of structural materials is often intimately linked to the internal microstructure. Small angle scattering provides a valuable probe of structural variations on length scales ranging from 0.5-200nm in these materials in bulk samples and allows for in-situ measurements. In this seminar I will provide a cursory introduction to the application of small-angle scattering to the study of these materials with examples of different types of analysis possible, briefly discussing thermal aging effects in high temperature superalloys used in power-generation turbines, radiation damage in pressure vessel steels, precipitate ordering in welds in precipitate strengthened alloys, and the effects of strain on precipitate growth in advanced aluminum and titanium alloys.
